I am so excited! I’ve been after custom tape for packaging my indie products for so long but I’ve not been able to find an option where the minimum order quantities weren't in the 100’s or 1000’s! So I was beyond excited to hear from No issue that they were in the final stages of developing an eco tape that could be customised, two hoo! I’ve worked with No issue before as I tested out their custom tissue which was also a break through moment for my online shop; I now get to wrap my orders in a custom and of course crazy stationery pattern!
I’ve been running low on the tissue paper which was making me sad so when they got in touch about the tape I asked for a top up on the tissue paper too, this time going for a minty hue! They didn’t mind my cheeky request and let me try out the whole range! So I now have new tissue paper plus stickers which are both from FSC; responsibly managed forrest supply chains, acid free paper; so no nasty chemicals left behind when decomposing and printed with soy based inks; a more eco friendly alternative to petroleum based products; TRIPLE YAY!
But what I really want to bang on about is this amazing custom tape! Goodbye brown tape around boxes! Now I have a pattern tape made from recycled paper that is water activated: (don’t lick a sponge is provided!) and 100% compostable: HUGE WIN! Not to mention the MOQ’s start at just 5 rolls, there is even a kraft tape option if that’s your vibe! There’s also two widths, a standard 5cm or an extra wide 7.2cm; the options are literally endless for what you could do! I’m really chuffed with this tape and I’ve switched up from brown plastic tape to sealing my postal tubes with paper and it looks SO much nicer! If you're interested head here to take a look
Finally I just want to say that it’s so nice to work with companies that are striving to make the changes that we really need to see happening everywhere! Alternatives like these are out there and if we support them with our dollar and spreading the word, that sends a message to the big corporations that enough is enough, people want you to put the Planet before Profit and not in a green washing way but in a practical meaningful way. Listen to Greta people! Please comment below with any companies that you feel are making a difference through their practices, I’m a big fan of Who Gives a Crap and Karma Cola but I’d love to know about and support more! Also if you read this far you get a gold star! >.<
